The statement of the PD deputy, Ferdinand Xhaferraj that the Prime Minister Edi Rama has made some “girls” ministers, has opened a debate in the Assembly.
It all started from the comparison that Balla made for Berisha, to whom he told that Rama does not even go as far as ‘Skanderbeg’s horseshoe’! This comparison seemed unworthy to the PD MP, Ferdinand Xhaferraj, but did not last long and he himself used a language inappropriate for women ministers, calling them ‘maids’.
Excerpts from the debate:
Balluku: It became the few times you continue to deal with women suckers or not. Kumbaro told me that you have a girl that you have excellent and she is very good and professional. As the father of a girl how do you find the courage to defile women every time! I do not share this opinion of women and men that we came here to vote. The only thing you can find is to say that there are a lot of women and girls, it shows that we do very well!
Do you feel good when you hear colleagues talking about women with this kind of language? Do you say a word to your colleague not to repeat it again! Our colleagues do not take you by the mouth! It’s turned out to be ridiculous, it’s good to gather these men and tell them if they can deal with anything else!
Xhaferraj: In my culture I have no problem apologizing and apologizing, but here I am talking about governing authority! Half of the lady started for the first time with the profession of minister, in this context I had it
forefront: The Albanian Parliament, in addition to the regulation, has another document to refer to whenever we make such mistakes. In the code of conduct there is a prediction that relates to any form of sexual harassment! I can deal with you affected men too, but I think Xhaferraj started to stutter the apology to the end. The ladies of parliament have an alliance and it loses value if it does not go beyond political boundaries and fences. I would invite PD colleagues to force Xhaferraj.
Xhaferaj: I do not have to apologize when I talk about the authority and professionalism of the figure and ministers. I do not think that I can help you in raising Mr. Rama.
Balluku: Xhaferraj, do you have Andian in your group, I have a question, dignity comes with age or it even exists. NOT to play on word games. You understand very well what we are talking about and how I know how it feels to have colleagues despise female and age! This story of the women of the government became a bogey! We no longer know what labels we are getting!
