Ukraine has asked the Pope to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin about allowing humanitarian corridors to help civilians affected by the Moscow occupation, the country’s deputy prime minister has said.
“I hope the conversation will take place,” Iryna Vereshchuk said on Ukrainian television.
