The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj spoke from Rrogozhina about the next victory, saying that the ambition together with Edion Memolla is to complete all the reconstruction and investments for the educational and urban infrastructure that has to do with the earthquake.
As the counting continues in Durrës, Dibër, Lushnjë and Shkodër, the SP has also won the municipalities of Vora and Lushnje. In his speech, Veliaj said that we will serve everyone equally and will not make any differentiation, even for those who did not vote for the Socialist Party.
Veliaj: Thank you to those who brought it to us by bringing us results from all polling stations and the CEAZ. I really appreciate your work and it has been key despite the fact that there have been only 6 municipalities. I greatly appreciate the work done by each of the media stations and journalists who have been on the ground.
I am very happy that the municipality of Rrogozhina has voted en masse for the SP. With our candidate Edison Memolla we won in Rrogozhina with over 60%, something that was also our ambition to win more than the two opposition candidates. We have a lot of work to do in Rrogozhina, another area affected by the earthquake. This year we will have to complete all the reconstruction and investments in terms of educational and urban infrastructure related to the earthquake.
We greatly appreciate your trust, we will not disappoint you and we will do our best to catch every deadline when it comes to ensuring that the last family has entered the apartment and each has taken a more dignified space than the one damaged by the earthquake.
It is also the tourist area of Spille, so I would like to invite everyone, who thinks that the region of Tirana has no sea, Rrogozhina to go out to sea and I can not wait to prepare for the tourist season and this year to recover the losses we have had from a weaker tourist season even from the pandemic. We have also opened calls for all grants in agriculture.
We will serve everyone equally, we will not make any differentiation, so all those who did not trust us this time, we have taken your opinion differently and I look forward to proving to you that we will not make any differentiation. With the victory in Vora and Rrogozhina, I believe that we have left no space to think that a coalition or municipality could beat the SP, but the essence is that the philosophy has been those who do not sow discord, those who think that work is better that violence, which thinks that uniting people is better than disruption, so I hope other colleagues read this message as well.
