The candidate of the “House of Freedom” for the local by-elections in Lusnja, Elton Bano has admitted defeat and wished victory to the candidate of the Socialist Party, Eriselda Sefa.
“I thank all my friends and collaborators as well as all the Democrats, those with the true opposition spirit who supported me in this our common journey. “I am grateful to every voter, every commissioner, every observer and numerator for the integrity shown during these elections.”
In a race there is always only one winner and this time it is not me, writes Bano in a post on the social network “Facebook”.
“I wish Eriselda Sefa victory! With the hope that it will meet the expectations of the citizens of Lushnja. I am proud after I entered this competition, hoping strongly for the victory and change of Lushnja. There are no keys or locks that can close the opposition spirit of the Lushnja democrats. “Thank you,” he said.
