At the height of the storm within the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha took a step back, conceding defeat.
“We have started the deep reflection for the loss of March 6 “, said the Democrat leader.
However, the question that circulates more and more often these hours, about a possible departure from the leadership of the party, Lulzim Basha was not able to give an answer. All options remain open.
“I am ready to do everything in the interest of the DP,” said Basha.
The one who does not move from his positions is Sali Berisha, who is preparing to return to the helm of the DP.
But the resigned deputy leader Grida Duma, who is at the head of the movement for the removal of the democratic leadership, sees the solution beyond Basha and Berisha. Agron Gjekmarkaj is in the same line. Unlike the two resigned colleagues, Jorida Tabaku and Enkelejd Alibeaj continue to remain silent.
The rebel group insists on meeting the group to formalize the request for the dismissal of the party chairman, but Lulzim Basha seems to be looking for time. Through the chairman of the group, the deputy announced that the meeting will be held on Saturday.
