An Italian woman was escorted by the Vlora police for theft in a jewelry store.
46-year-old Emanuela Massaro from Brindisi appears in the images taken by the security cameras in the shop in the neighborhood “Independence 3”. Together with her friends, they confuse the seller to steal a diamond bracelet worth 26,500 thousand ALL, which the 46-year-old secretly takes and puts in her pocket.
The shop assistant tells the moments when the three Italians entered the store and how she realized that the jewelry was missing.
“The girl goes with the bracelet in hand with the others and they ask me, they spoke Italian to each other. While I was dealing with the other girls, she picked up the bracelet. “When I was arranging them, I realized that they had taken a diamond bracelet from me.”says the shop saleswoman, Jonida Xhaferraj.
The Italian must now stay in Vlora because she is being investigated at large and her passport will not be returned until the end of the investigation. She was identified when the shop owners asked for the help of citizens and all three were stopped in the port of Vlora, trying to leave after a few days as a tourist in Albania.
But the stolen bracelet was not found and investigations will show where the jewelry they were taking with them from Albania ended up.
