A group of citizens protested this afternoon, in Durrës, against the increase of food prices.
Protesters gathered in the main town square in front of the town hall and demanded government intervention to put an end to speculation, they say, of rising prices by food and bread traders.
In the last two weeks, the prices of bread and food basket products have increased by 20-50 percent.
