This is the opinion of the expert on energy issues, Eduart Elezi, according to whom the increase in prices for businesses will hit ordinary citizens again, as any additional costs will fall on them, in the final price of the products they will buy.

The increase of electricity prices will bring a further increase of all products because energy consumption is the basis of the economy and with such an intervention with an increase in energy tariffs, it will be a difficult situation for the citizens and the functioning of business. ”
According to experts, the government should take the situation into its own hands by intervening in the energy sector in these directions.
“The first form is for the Albanian state to enter as a guarantor for OSHEE by realizing medium and long-term loans for it, as they have activity. The second option is the grants that the EU has regarding the effects of the war situation, to intervene in items that are not a priority and to focus on the energy sector so as not to interrupt the supply and to support the affected citizens. “
The government has pledged to protect the needy and small businesses from this increase in energy bill prices, but others who will be judged to have income will pay the new prices raised. Next June 7400 businesses are expected to enter the free market for energy purchases and the situation does not seem at all favorable for its provision at cheap prices.
