The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, has today called on all European politicians to sever all ties with Russia, arguing that any payment to Russia is bloody and helps it strengthen its military.
“Every euro, every cent you receive or send to Russia has blood, it is bloody money and the blood of this money is the blood of Ukraine. “The blood of the Ukrainian people.”– he said.
Klitschko also described the genocide in Bucha, as he had visited the town up close this week and said he had seen sad scenes there.
He says he saw dead civilians, including an elderly woman, and a car with a white flag and baby letters on the outside that had been shot and had blood inside.
