At least 186 children in Ukraine have been killed and 344 injured by the Russian occupation, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office told the Telegram.
The highest death toll was in the eastern Donetsk region, where 113 deaths were reported, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Ukraine also says 938 educational institutions have been damaged by the bombings, 87 of which have been completely destroyed.
The UN children’s agency, UNICEF, has said that almost two-thirds of all Ukrainian children, about 4.8 million, have been displaced from their homes since the beginning of the Russian occupation.
