Russia has continued to attack Ukraine overnight.
Ukrainian President Zelensky confirmed that the Russians had fired rockets at many cities, including Kiev.
The attack also affected civilians, although Putin said that would not happen. A residential building in the Ukrainian capital Kiev was hit by a Russian attack in the early hours of Friday morning, reports BBC.
Published images show damage to homes. The mayor of Kiev said earlier that at least three people were injured as a result of the rocket attacks.
Later, President Zelensky also confirmed that Russia had carried out numerous missile attacks on both military and civilian facilities.
