Former US President Donald Trump yesterday called the well-known British opinionist Piers Morgan “very dishonest” before leaving the interview with him because he was constantly asked about the loss of the 2020 elections due to vote manipulation.
The 45th president of the United States was getting more and more irritated with Morgan’s provocative questions and at one point called him “stupid,” according to some footage published in the interview.
“I think I’m a very honest person… a lot more than you actually are,” Trump said at one point in the interview.
“Really?” replied Morgan.
“Yes,” said Trump.
Earlier, Morgan told Trump that the 2020 presidential vote was a “free and fair election process.” You lose.”
“Only a fool would think that,” Trump responded.
“You think I’m a fool?” asked Morgan.
“I know this, yes,” Trump replied.
Trump has suggested that moves to expand the postal vote in 2020 from the COVID-19 pandemic have hidden vote manipulation by Democrats and their servants in key shaky areas like Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
“With all due respect, you are not bringing evidence,” Morgan said of Trump’s claim.
“You do not look real to me,” said the former president, and later turned away from the production team, calling his interviewer “very dishonest!”
The published part of the interview ends with Trump rising from his chair and ordering the group to “turn off the cameras.”
“Very dishonest,” he adds as he leaves.
Describing his experience to the media later, Morgan said Trump had called him “stupid” several times during the interview, as he had called Senator Mitch Mconnell and his deputy. his president Mike Pence.
But hours after the footage was shared on social media, Trump released an audio version of his interview, denying that he had left it, as he described it as “manipulated footage.”
And in fact the two men are heard thanking and laughing with each other at the end of the interview
“It was a very good interview,” Morgan was quoted as saying.
“Yes,” Trump replies.
“Thank you so much, I appreciate it so much,” Morgan said before Trump added, “Turn off the cameras.”
Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich told the network NBC News that Morgan had attempted to edit illegally and fraudulently. “He has tried to manipulate his long and tedious interview with me,” he said.
Trump said: “He wanted to make it look like I left the interview but the good news is that it was recorded by us as well, as a way for him to remain honest.
He admitted that he had called Morgan “stupid” because he believed in the chosen result of 2020.
The heated debate has actually taken place in the new program “Piers Morgan Uncensored”, which will be broadcast every week across the globe.
