Manchester City is focused on formalizing the firm as soon as possible with one of the most wanted players in Europe, Erling Haaland. The Norwegian has agreed to join The Citizens project while with the arrival of the Dortmund player at the Etihad Stadium, the spaces for Gabriel Jesus are significantly reduced.
Even this season, the Brazilian has not been the most favorite in the election of coach Pep Guardiola and in 24 matches with “Citizens” only 14 has started from the first minute. In this form, the manager of the 25-year-old has started talks with Arsenal to transfer his representative to London. The Gunners could give him a starring role in the new season as the fact that Jesus knows the Premier League well constitutes an advantage for Arsenal.
Jesus’s contract with City expires in 2023 and the club from Manchester is open to allow him to leave so as not to lose him with zero parameters. However, the talks with Arsenal are only in their beginnings and there is still nothing concrete about the future of the striker, who with the World Cup on the horizon requires only a guarantee of minutes to win an important role in the Brazilian national team.
