13 civilians have been killed in the last 24 hours in Luhansk as a result of Russian attacks.
The news was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, who said that twelve people were killed in the city of Severodonetsk.
Severodonetsk is strategically important to the Russians because its control would enable Russia to move west and connect with Russian forces pushing south-east of Izyum.
