Bukurije Ahmetaj, Elvis Ahmetaj, Fatmir Qema, Eduard Haxhiu, Altin Memaj, Blerim Çoku, Azem Tanushi, Ariselda Memaj are the accused persons who collected the illegal Albanian migrants, provided the place on which road or air transport line they would travel, instruct them they how to act and take care that migrants reach the right destinations. It is suspected that migrants here in Albania were required to hand over substantial sums of money.
The wiretaps showed that with their compatriots they also use Internet communication via Whatsapp and use encrypted vocabulary.
Migrants from Albania arrived in European Schengen countries, with their passports with them, where they took refuge waiting for the organization of the transfer to the United Kingdom with forged documentation. Their relocation to European Schengen countries, from one city to another, was welcomed and done by Albanian drivers traveling from Albania there and taking over from the accused here, to accommodate them in temporary residences.
