Barcelona has not stopped in this market with the Catalans who have so far signed players like Lewandowski, Raphina, Kessie or Christensen.
President Joan Laporta stressed a few days ago that the next signing would be a defender and in fact he has kept his word. Recently, Barcelona has managed to find an agreement in principle with Sevilla to transfer Jules Kounde to the Camp Nou as the news has been reported by Gerard Moreno, who is rarely wrong when it comes to Barcelona.
In fact, it looked like the Frenchman was one step away from Chelsea with the London Blues offering up to £55million to convince the Andalusian leaders. However, the Blaugrana intervened and apparently managed to “steal” the goal from the English, leaving the latter empty-handed.
There is still no figure for which Sevilla has found an agreement with Barcelona, although it must be a matter of a lot of money, given that the 23-year-old is one of the most valued defenders on the market, having also won the collection with the French national team.a/ Super Sports
