Democrat MP, Agron Gjekmarkaj, invited to the Top Story show on Top Channel, said that there has never been a political agreement between the majority and the opposition for the election of the president.
He said that the majority is making a political show during this process by not taking anything seriously.
“It is in the eyes of all public opinion that the situation in the DP is not easy, I have said that it was unnecessary to waste time on criteria, when no one had asked us for the criteria. There are many dissatisfied with this government, for the banality that has been created by this government. Albanians discovered that the majority is a liar, did not seriously cooperate with the opposition, just made a show. The DP has aggravated the situation in front of the Albanians because it was given the opportunity. The opportunity to propose is nothing. How many times has the constitutional right been used by the opposition? A political pact has never been drawn between the parties. “They have seen that there is no vocation for this issue, no opposition has done it because it knows it will not take it.” said Gjekmarkaj.
