President Ilir Meta has returned the law “On military career in the Armed Forces”, which according to him discourages the education of young people and promotes the misconception that he finds a job and “no school”.
According to the President, the improvement of this law aims to increase meritocracy, equality and effectiveness in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, as some of the main pillars on which this force is based.
He emphasizes that this draft law will guarantee the improvement of the functioning of the Armed Forces, in important aspects of military career, such as: recruitment, length of stay in each rank, maximum age of service for each rank, specialties and compulsory education.
