Civilians in the eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk are without gas, water and electricity as they are being attacked by Russian forces.
Earlier, Luhansk regional governor Serhiy Haidi said Russian troops had entered the city and that he was also under airstrikes.
“They will bomb for three, four, five hours and then they will advance. Those who are attacking are being killed, and then the bombing starts again and then another attack. And that would happen until they could break our positions somewhere“, Said Haidi.
“The weather is quite hot now. And all over the suburbs of Severodonetsk, we have the smell of corpses because they [rusët] they are not taking the bodies. “
He said Russian forces are using all the weapons at their disposal to attack the city, but the Ukrainians are still keeping it under control.
