Armand Duka has been elected for another term at the head of the Albanian football federation.
The most beautiful game community in the world held the election assembly on Tuesday morning electing the highest governing bodies. At the end of the voting process for the presidential race, Duke received 37 votes from 43 delegates present in the hall.
The other candidate Sulejman Starova received 5 votes and the candidate Dirtan Shakohoxha received no votes.
The assembly in its election process was also greeted by senior FIFA figures and UEFA vice-president Zibi Bonjek, a big name in Polish and European football.
While then everything went normally at the beginning with the process of voting and counting the votes for the race for president.
After winning his sixth term, President Armand Duka stressed that this longevity at the helm of the football institution is an appreciation for the work done so far and an experience to move it forward.
Also in the assembly was voted for 10 members of the executive committee who are: Abdyl Kuriu, Anila Basha, Arben Dervishaj, Bardhyl Jera, Envi Hicka, Ervin Canollari, Gjergji Petro, Lutfi Nuriu, Pano Xhixho and Ylli Ҫekiҫi.
