Italy and Argentina will face each other on June 1 at “Wembley” (Supersport 2, 20:45), a valid challenge for the superfinal between the champions of Europe and Latin America.
Leo Messi, the star and captain of the national team “albiceleste” has touched on several topics for TyC Sports, not sparing good words for Roberto Mancini’s team, which will not participate in the World Cup in Qatar.
“It is certain that Italy would be one of the favorite teams to win the World Cup. If she were present in the draw, no one would have wanted to face Italy.
It is madness that they won the European but did not qualify for the World Cup. Sin! I have good friends and acquaintances in Italy, they are Verratti and Donnarumma, two great people with whom I have a very good relationship.
Both have helped me a lot since I left PSG, especially Verratti. I’m very sorry that they will not play in the World Cup in Qatar.
The challenge against them is a good test for us, to continue to grow and improve, to get the best out of the first match in the World Cup, winning which is our first goal.
Duel? It is an official competition, approved by FIFA, one more cup for us and we want to win this group to add another cup for personal happiness, for the group and also for the Argentine people“, Stressed Messi.
