Four days have passed since the murder of 28-year-old Klisman Preçi and the wounding of 46-year-old Ylli Brahim in Milot, while the police still do not have a suspected perpetrator.

How did the event happen?
On Friday evening, 28-year-old Klisman Preçi died, while he is in serious condition at the Ylli Brahimi Trauma Hospital. The 46-year-old is under the care of doctors, while he received injuries to his chest and legs.
The two people were standing under the apartment in Milot, when they faced the barrage of bullets from the assassins.
Both are well-known persons in Albanian justice, where Ylli Brahimi is involved in the gambling business, convicted of drug trafficking, while Klisman Preçi has a criminal record for armed robbery.
It is learned that Ylli Brahimi was driving an armored car, which was hit by the “bullets” of the perpetrators.
A few minutes after the assassination, an Audi-type vehicle was found in Borizana, Kruja, with two Kalashnikovs inside, burning, while it is being verified whether it belongs to the assassins.
The victim of this evening’s assassination attempt in Milot, Klisman Preçi, miraculously escaped the bullets in May of this year, where his relative Blerim Preçi was the target.
On January 12, 2021, Ylli Brahimi was walking on the sidewalk in the company of two other people, when he was shot 15 times. Ylli Brahimi Brahja was also questioned after the murder of former policeman Xelal Reçi.
In the afternoon of July 17, also in a mafia assassination, 3 people were killed: Brilant Martinaj, Besmir Hoxha and Diklen Vata, an event which is suspected to be related to the Milot assassination on the evening of July 22.
In this event, it is suspected that there were at least three perpetrators, one driving the vehicle and two who shot. Since they had escaped assassinations before, they had increased security measures. They drove around in armored cars and in the building where they lived they had installed security cameras in every corner.
