In a small room in the Palace of Culture in Gjakova, the association “War Crimes, Gjakova ’98 – ’99” performs daily tasks.
In this space, Shkendije Hoda unveils thousands of photos she took after the war that testify to the massacres in this city.
The evidence she has collected since the post-war period has already been sent to the Police to continue the investigation into the crimes committed.
And these photos prove some of the most horrific war crimes in Kosovo.
Hoda hopes that with the lists of names of 7300 suspects for these crimes, one day an indictment will be filed.
For the dozens of massacres committed in Gjakova by Serbs during the years ’98 – ’99, 23 years after the war no indictment has been filed, despite the fact that this association has submitted to the Kosovo Police hundreds of criminal charges.
