A woman has been eaten by her 20 cats after she crashed into her home and died. It took two weeks for the body to be discovered by police.
Police describe the horrific situation, saying that when they arrived at the scene after being alerted by neighbors, they found only a few remains of the corpse after it had been partially eaten by cats, which had surrounded it hungry.
The deceased was a cat breeder who kept in her house 20 giant cats of Maine Coon origin. She was found at her home in Bataysk, Rostov region, Russia.
“The cats stayed for only two weeks, there was no food, so they had nothing else to eat. Is that understandable or not? “They ate what they had.” said an animal rescue expert caring for some of the surviving cats.
And some of the healthiest cats are now back to new owners for just £ 29 each.
