Johnny Depp’s famous lawyer, Camille Vasquez, is reportedly overflowing with job offers from Hollywood entities and has become the center of a bidding war between law firms, following her winning performance at the actor’s trial.
The 37-year-old lawyer became a ‘star’ with harsh and sometimes humiliating examinations of actress Amber Heard, becoming one of Depp’s countless fan favorites.
Already the doors of the industry are opening for Vasquez – and the only question is which one she will choose.
“Talent scouts are circulating around Camille because they know she is a unique – intelligent, knowledgeable and sharp with a strong impact during the trial. “The fact that she is a woman of color is a bonus in the current scene of democratic political liberalism,” an industry source told the media.
Vasquez and her colleagues managed to convince the jury that Heard had tarnished Depp’s reputation in all three cases filed since the article was published in the 2018 Washington Post.
Since the closing of the trial on Wednesday, Vasquez has said he has received offers from television and cable networks as a voice that can weigh in on legal issues, sources told The Post.
But Vasquez still remains affiliated with law firm Brown Rudnick, as its owner Judd Burstein speculated that “it will soon be a partner of the company.”
Depp’s lawyer has gained so much fame that one of Depp’s fans got a tattoo of her as she wrote down the word often used in court by “Objection” lawyers.
Others speculate that Vasquez may have intimacy with Deppthough the words have been dismissed by both groups after the woman was seen with her boyfriend Edward Owen.
