The club of Rome owes UEFA full 46 thousand euros as a result of breaking some rules by the fans of the capital in the semifinal of the Conference League played in Olimpico against Leicester.
Immediately, Roma escaped with a warning about the delay caused by the persons who were charged with the task of collecting balls that ended up off the field. In order to pass the minutes and reach the target, the ball collectors delayed their return to the field, however, the Italians already have to take action after they have ended “under the magnifying glass” of UEFA and in case of repetition an exemplary penalty is expected.
According to SuperSport on the other hand, even Leicester did not escape the fine due to the misconduct of the fans in the stands. Even the Angels were fined 24 thousand euros for throwing things in the field and lighting torches in the stands.
