The court of Vlora has determined this Wednesday the security measure against Gjergj Priftuli, who lost control of the dinghy while sailing in the sea and as a result two vacationers were injured.
The 37-year-old was placed under “house arrest”, a hearing which was led by judge Hektor Sinanaj and prosecutor Erida Visoci.
The incident happened four days ago where the driver of the boat was performing dangerous maneuvers a few hundred meters from the shore and then he fell into the water.
The dinghy sped off and hit the young couple on the beach, 31 and 25 years old, who were injured. They were transported to the trauma hospital in Tirana by helicopter.
