The fires in Lushnja have continued this Wednesday as well.
After the burning of dozens of hectares of olive groves yesterday afternoon, this morning in the village of Kasharaj, several houses in the village were endangered due to carelessness.
The fire started with the burning of garbage and then spread and burned four cattle sheds and food warehouses, continuing towards the forest.
The residents of the neighborhood have removed the cattle and with circumstantial means have kept the fire under control.
After the arrival of two fire engines from the city of Lushnja, they isolated and extinguished the flames while protecting the apartments and the forest adjacent to the place where the fire occurred.
