There is a “shelf life” that few people know about!
The vast majority after the shower use a towel to wipe the whole body, which is then hung on a hanger and left to dry – but this is a big mistake, reports Telegrafi.
So wet and full of small particles of dead surface layer of skin, the towel stays hanging overnight and in the morning you use it again!
You are not aware of how much fungus and bacteria can settle into it in a very short time, so doctors warn that the maximum number of uses of a towel is three times between two washes and that in the meantime it should dry well.
This means that the same evening or morning after use, you should take it out on the terrace or dry it on the radiator if you plan to use it again.
Although self-evident, it is worth noting that you will use different towels for hands, face and body, as well as that each family member should have his own towel.
The towel is recommended to be changed every three days, while the hand towel is better to be changed every day.
