The police operation codenamed “Lugano 2” is finalized, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps.
Operation conducted by the Police Commissariat no. 4 in cooperation with OSHEE.
During the operation, an environment adapted for the cultivation of cannabis was discovered, by means of lamps, in an apartment where there were illegal electrical connections.
1 citizen is handcuffed, cannabis cultivation equipment, bulbs and narcotic plants are seized.
Following the work for the prevention, identification and crackdown on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, the services of the Police Commissariat no. 4, after a thorough investigative work, based on the information received on the street that a citizen, on the street “Sotir Caci”, had adapted the rented apartment for cultivation of narcotic plants, organized and successfully finalized the police operation codenamed “Lugano 2”.
In the framework of this operation, the citizen EN, 32 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”.
This citizen, during the intervention by the Police services, tried to leave the apartment which he had adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps, jumping from the third floor.
During the control of this apartment, in “Sotir Caci” street, were found and seized equipment that served for the cultivation of narcotic plants, lamps and 81 vases with suspected narcotic plants cannabis sativa.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”.
