A Kosovo police operation in Zvecan destroyed a grass house and handcuffed four Serbs.
The operation was carried out in the village of Kremestak, after the Police had received information that in a house it was suspected that there was a laboratory for cannabis cultivation.
During the search inside the house, it was found that on the first floor there were two rooms arranged with lighting, ventilation and flower pots, and a room in which there were cannabis plants drying and almost ready for the market. Also on the second floor was a room with cannabis plants drying also ready for sale,
According to the Police, 15 kilograms of marijuana were confiscated, ready to be put on the market, cannabis, cash and other items.
It is estimated that the seized quantity of marijuana and cannabis plants exceeds the market value of over one million euros, while the equipment which is used for planting, growing and cultivating cannabis exceeds the value of over 450,000 euros.
Police say that this is a structured criminal group who have acted in the sale of narcotics in the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
Authorities reported that the detainees had attempted to flee when Kosovo Police entered the house where the laboratory was found, but without success.
