The socialist majority has been part of the consultations for the election of the new President of the Republic and the civil society.
This document is the invitation sent by e-mail to civil society organizations attached to an Exel list document of the list of 451 non-governmental organizations.
On behalf of Taulant Ballës, the invitation was sent by an employee of the Presidency of the Albanian Parliament. The list in Exel is called “Civil Society for the President”.
At first glance it seems a normal process, where civil society is asked what belongs to it: opinion and participation in an important decision such as the election of a new Head of State. But how valuable and credible this process is, the following facts show.
Even associations such as those of forests and chrome, women for a sustainable agriculture, correction and human rehabilitation have been asked by the socialists to come up with concrete proposals.
The Greek Consulate in Korça is included in this list as a non-governmental organization. In such conditions, for the first time, the Socialists give the right to propose, not to the Greek minority, but to a Greek state directly.
Interesting examples of who can propose the name of the President do not end there. For example in Albania there is a Charitable Association of Seafarers of Albania created by a person with an exotic name. David Jonathan Pennoyer has the opportunity to propose why not one of the honored sailors of our country for head of state, for example Mr. Gjergj Luca.
But the most cherry part of the cake, is revealed below.
Through a thorough check of this list it is noticed that it is very old and un-updated.
So refreshed as to give a name to the new president of the country, in this list is also the wife of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who still has in the invitation as a surname, what she had when Alfred Moisiu was still president.
From a verification, Top Channel managed to learn that Mrs. Rama is no longer the leader of this organization, but this has not prevented her husband’s party from inviting her to give her contribution in the selection of the new president.
But it does not end there.
If we refer to this list, the president of RTV Ora Ylli Ndroqi has been invited to give his opinion as the president of the “Association of Honorary Consuls in Albania”, in the selection process President. In fact, Mr. Ndroqi is no longer president of this association since 2018.
Meanwhile he is not even the consul of Mexico. Mr. Ndroqi today is just one person sanctioned by the United States Treasury Department.
Mr. Duke may be at war with the government, but the Football Federation could nominate the head of state, for example the brilliant player Sulejman Demollari. The Albanian Golf Federation, which although has no golf course in Albania, may request for example that the President of the Republic be Dashamir Shehi.
The ski federation that has only one athlete, who participated in the Beijing winter, has also been invited to propose. And the comic list of this serious offer of the government, closes the Judo Federation.
