Over 20 hectares of land with plants and shrubs were burned by the fire that engulfed this afternoon an area of the village Jakodina in Roskovec.
The action to extinguish the fire was attended by 30 firefighters and 5 firefighting vehicles, who were able to neutralize the flames and bring the fire under control, which endangered several homes and a chicken coop.
So far, it is not known what caused the fire, but it is thought that the wheat harvested was burnt and the flames spread, favored by high temperatures.
The fire is being kept under surveillance to avoid reactivation.
