Accused the Konomi family in the white lines, Ajas Sulejmani is released from prison

The Tirana court has eased the security measure against him, from prison to house arrest, deciding that the 39-year-old be investigated under the measure of house arrest.

In the session held this Monday, the black platoon of the capital accepted Sulejman’s request for a softer security measure also due to the normalization of relations between the parties.

How did the accident happen?

The couple, 43 and 47 years old, together with their 3-month-old child in a wheelchair, tried to cross the white visas on Kavaja Street on May 8, while 39-year-old Ajas Sulejmeni, driving a Benz G Class, did not stop at a red light and crashed the family who received medical assistance at the hospital while the 39-year-old abandoned the vehicle and fled from police.

“Top Channel” provided footage of security cameras in the area which filmed the serious accident. The picture shows the Konomi family walking on the white lines when the traffic light gives the right of movement to pedestrians. In the first lane a benz vehicle stands when the traffic light turns red and pedestrians continue to move smoothly while in the second lane the G-class benz vehicle of Ajas Sulejmani does not brake but crashes the couple who fall a few meters further.

Thankfully the stroller does not crash from the car but from the propulsive force crashes over the white visas along with the child in it. A few seconds later passers-by approach and give first aid to the injured until the ambulance arrives.

Two hours after the accident, the Tirana traffic police arrested the perpetrator of the accident, Ajas Sulejmani, in one of the private hospitals in the capital, a few kilometers from the scene. He was fined and escorted several times by the police for traffic code violations.
