Afghanistan’s only erotic actress escapes after discovery by Taliban (photos)

Yasmeena Ali says she was just a frightened child on the streets of Kabul when the Taliban first came to power in the 1990s.

There she saw violence against men and women before leaving with her family for Britain, where she learned to read and write.

Now, 30 years later, the Taliban have returned to the leadership of their country, when Yasmeena has become the only “porn star” from Afghanistan.

She says she has given up the Muslim religion but fears the Taliban know everything about her from red-light videos on social media.

Speaking on ‘I Hate Porn’, she told presenter Tommy McDonald: “They hate what I do because they do not want an Afghan to be known for pornography? How dare a woman show her body? They believe they own women’s bodies and have no right to show it because an Afghan should not do that. “I always get messages that say I’m supposed to do it, and that an Afghan can not do such things, they tell me I’m Jewish.”

“But I am Afghan and maybe the Taliban are watching what I am doing.”

She talked about the contrasting life she once lived in Afghanistan.

“I saw them parade in Kabul. It was similar to what happened this summer. “It was as if you were in a surreal world that could not understand what was happening.”

She then compared the violence there to the behavior of drunken football fans in Britain.

Yasmeena said: “Football fans in Britain are also under the influence of alcohol but you can call the police and you are protected. Who will you call in Afghanistan? All the rules are for the pleasure of men, they have a problem with female sexuality because they are afraid of losing control. The whole idea is to subjugate and control women. “Men adore power, they have a caveman mentality”, the porn star commented, among other things.
