Andriy Shevchenko does not seem to be staying long as his name has recently been widely rumored as the new coach of the Polish national team.
The former Milan footballer until recently was in charge of Genoa in Serie A, but failed in his project to return the red and blues to positive results, so he ended up fired.
However, in the Polish Federation they trust the skills of the 45-year-old, who in the past had experience in leading a national team after leading Ukraine for five years. Another aspect that draws the Polish Federation towards Shevchenko is his image, as the national team with the Ukrainian on the bench would attract more attention.
It remains to be seen whether the talks will materialize as Poland seeks to appoint a new coach on 31 January. Meanwhile, in case Shevchenko does not agree with the terms of the Poles then Adam Nawalka is ready, who has agreed to take over the leadership of the team.
