You are a citizen of the world, but you are also an Albanian citizen or not? How do you feel about that?
I am an Albanian citizen with a passport.
Are you happy about that?
Yes.
How is it possible that your name is Albano?
Because my father was sent to Albania in the Second World War. He told me a very important phrase. I was at war but I did not kill anyone. He was fine but pretended to be sick because he wanted to go home and marry the woman who became my mother.
Can you tell us a little about your company. Do you know that you have a wine shop?
I have bought two farms all these years. I built a very beautiful village with antique flavors. It is a hotel spread over 50 rooms. There is a restaurant, pizzeria, swimming pools, a spa and a wine cellar.
There are many tourists visiting it?
Yes. Many people.
What recipes will you serve your wines with?
Since Puglia is the land of the sea. Fish, seafood. Also with lamb, beef, sausages, I am very good at making them.

I think the greatest gift God has given to human beings is woman. The woman gives you life. The woman has the advantage of having humanity for nine months in the womb.
What are the memories of the first visit to Albania? During communism. Something extraordinary.
I will never be able to thank your ambassador Bashkim Dino who gave me the opportunity to come to Albania, From Greece, to Kakavija. Then Saranda, Përmet, Gjirokastër. It was a fantastic trip. Because it was a world totally different than you can imagine.
