Florian Bregu, David Kryemadhi, Ilir Topi are the winners of the first prize of the Competition “Albanian Graphic Novels”. They were chosen from 25 participants from all over Albania.
Henri Dimo, Betina Sharavolli, Iris Boshnjaku and Bartolino Selamaj follow the second and fifth prizes, respectively.
Participants in the competition are students of art high schools in Tirana, Elbasan, Korca, Gjirokastra, Shkodra, Berat, Vlora, Fier and Durres, students from the University of Arts, Faculty of Figurative Arts, etc., but also passionate about graphic novels.
This reflects the attention of young people with cultural heritage, ballads, Albanian legends through a language they like.
The Ministry of Culture presented in this ceremony the initiative to create a “mascot”, a character to guide us along our journey through Albania, among our cultural heritage, archaeological parks, museums, monuments, etc.
