Despite constant protests or objections from the citizens of Kosovo, the increase in the price of electricity is already a fact.
The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) has approved the setting of the tariff block at 800 kwh, although it was previously proposed to set the tariff block at 600 kwh. The proposal approved unanimously came to a meeting by the tariff department.
For those who consume more than 800 kilowatts of electricity, the tariff will be 12 cents higher and 6 cents cheaper. The new tariffs come into force on February 9 and will remain in force until March 2023. It is also announced that there will be no tariff blocks for businesses.
