The US Ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, during her speech at the conference “Justice in times of challenges” said that in Albania we should no longer walk with the justice of the past, but with what meets the standards of the European Union.
“Let me be clear and a little non-diplomatic, what justice is, what Albania looks like when the reform is implemented. We will know that the Reform has been successful, but not to be called more common, for this we have Vetting and its functions, but to be successful to be appropriate for the ruling political leaders or not, to say that justice introduced my side in jail. These are not the standards of justice. They should not continue with the justice of the past, the justice that should come to Albania is the one with standards that are in line with the EU, this is what people expect “said Kim.
