Donetsk, Makeyevka and other rebel-held cities in eastern Ukraine are battling severe water shortages.
Water infrastructure has been bombed during the conflict and some areas of Donetsk are receiving running water for only two hours every two days.
Resident Natalia said locals had not had access to running water for nearly a month and instead had to buy bottled water while standing in line.
“I spent an hour and a half in a row a few days ago, I managed to buy only four bottles,” she said.
Some residents have to travel to other areas to get water as beverage prices continue to rise.
