The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), has closed the preliminary investigation and requested 3.6 years in prison for the former prosecutor of Saranda Sali Hasa, who was arrested in June last year after being accused of corruption and failure to declare incomes.
Among the accusations leveled against him is the suspicion over the dismissal of the case of the citizen Emiliano Mirani accused of “minor injuries” through the mediation of the latter’s sister Elsona Papa, who is an employee of the Saranda Municipal Police.
SPAK has also requested arrest in prison for his associates, namely:
Emiliano Mirani 2 years and 6 months in prison
Elsona Papa 1 year in prison
Napolon Hodaj 2 years in prison
Julian Zera 1 year and 3 months in prison
Markelian Alinani 3 years and 6 months in prison
Qerim Ruçi 2 years and 6 months in prison

Sali Hasa, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of “Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials” and “Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or of any other person who has the legal obligation to declare ”, in the form of concealment and false declaration, provided by articles 319 / ç and 257 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code.
Napolon Hodaj, accused of having committed the criminal offense of “Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions”, provided by Articles 245/1, second paragraph of the Criminal Code.
Emiliano Mirani, accused of having committed the criminal offense of “Active corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials”, committed in collaboration, provided by Articles 319 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
Elsona Papa, accused of having committed the criminal offense of “Active corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials”, committed in collaboration, provided by Articles 319 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
Markelian Alinani, accused of having committed the criminal offenses “Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions”, committed in collaboration and “Predetermination of sports results”, in cooperation, provided by Articles 245/1, first paragraph and 25, 197 / a / 2 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
Julian Zera, accused of having committed the criminal offenses “Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions”, committed in collaboration and “False statements before a judicial police officer”, provided by Articles 245/1, first paragraph and 25 of the Criminal Code and 305 / b / 1 of the Criminal Code.
Qerim Ruçi, accused of having committed the criminal offense “Predetermination of results in sports competitions”, committed in collaboration, provided by Articles 197 / a, second paragraph and 25 of the Criminal Code.
