Today’s rocket attack in Kramatorsk has claimed the lives of 30 people, four of whom were children.
The attack took place at 10:30 a.m. and details are not yet known if the rocket exploded in the air or crashed from the missile system at that location.
The wreckage of one of the rockets fired near the Kramatorsk station appears to have the words “for children” written in Russian.
The phrase – “za deti” in Russian – means that it was shot in support of children. Ukrainian officials say the attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk has killed at least 39 people, including four children.
The station was being used to evacuate civilians from the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine, where fighting has intensified in recent days.
