Police have made possible the seizure of about 190,000 (one hundred and ninety thousand) suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seeds, equipment used to grow narcotic plants indoors, a quantity of suspected narcotics, a sum of money and a vehicle.
56-year-old with initials tW. S. was arrested after at the Kakavije Border Crossing Point, at the exit of the Republic of Albania, during the control exercised by the Police services, in his vehicle were found and seized as material evidence about 190 000 (one hundred and ninety thousand suspected cannabis sativa narcotic seeds, 57 grams of suspected cannabis sativa narcotic, 250 ml of suspected cannabis sativa oil, suspected potted narcotic plant, electricity boosting equipment, other plant cultivation items indoor narcotics and 4995 euros.
Preliminary investigations show that this citizen would traffic these illegal items to the island of Samos.
The materials in charge of this citizen were transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for the criminal offenses “Narcotics trafficking” and “Cultivation of narcotics”.
