Austria has decided to suspend AstraZeneca anti-Covid vaccines after one person lost his life and another is in serious condition after receiving the vaccine.
A 49-year-old woman lost her life due to severe disorders, while a 35-year-old woman is in serious condition after suffering a pulmonary embolism, an acute lung disease caused by a blood clot, writes Daily Mail.
Both women reported health problems almost at the same time distance after receiving the vaccine from the same consignment at the Zwettl district clinic, Austria.
It remains unclear from which factory the vaccine doses came from.
The vaccine company said it was in contact with Austrian authorities and would fully support the investigation.
