The village of Zvirina in the Municipality of Maliq is part of the list of 100 tourist villages of Albania, which means that during the last years it should have benefited from numerous investments that would improve the living of the inhabitants and increase the perspective of tourism.
The village that today is in complete lack of infrastructure once had old churches from which today there is no trace and the inhabitants have simply tried to rebuild it despite the fact that the values of cultural heritage could not survive in time.
In Zvirina there is only one restaurant that offers some traditional cooking but to get there it takes a lot of effort because the road is almost impassable for small vehicles while for water residents have to use 2 springs in the village.
Inclusion in the list of development program for rural tourism has not yet brought any benefit to the inhabitants of Zvirina who continue to be focused on agriculture and remain in the hope that the strategy for these villages will work in the future.
