The son of a millionaire banker has been killed by the propeller of the boat he was sailing on, while desperately trying to save his fiancée during a fishing competition in Florida.

Escotet Alviarez jumped when he saw Montero fall into the water, but unfortunately hit the boat propeller and died of his wounds, according to a report by the Florida Wildlife and Fish Commission.
The couple were taking part in the fishing competition organized by the Ocean Reef club in the waters of Key Largo. The report did not cite Miss Montero’s condition.
Escotet Alviarez was the youngest of the boys of Escotet Rodriguez, writes the network in Venezuela, El Nacional .
He had studied business relations at the University of Miami.
Venezuelan journalist Angela Oraa said in a post that Montero had managed to escape ‘without consequences’.
