A group of Berisha supporters in Fier were not at all friendly with Lulzim Basha.
However, Lulzim Basha continued without worrying about the meeting with the democrats of Fier, repeating many times the words “We choose the Future”.
“On January 8, contrary to our calls, a red line was crossed. A red line that separated us and that should separate us once and for all. Violence is not a tool of the Democrats, they can neither be blackmailed, nor occupied, nor threatened, nor forced by the Democrats, nor the institutions of the Democrats, nor the President, nor the Presidency, nor the National Assembly, nor by force. Branch Presidents, not even the branches themselves, no Democrat responds to violence. Our response to government violence has been and will be strong, but inside our home, no one can overlap with anyone else.“, Said Basha.
Sali Berisha told Shkodra supporters that he is the man who will bring the Democrats back to power.
“We will liberate that headquarters from the blinds and shameful gangs. Do not hesitate. We never give pluralism, we never give democracy, we never give PD, we never trample on the interests of Albania. Therefore, I invite you, from this day, to take the flame, the light of this revolution to every Albanian hearth, to restore once again the plebiscite victory of ’92”.
