BASHA— It is clear to everyone that Russian aggression against Ukraine is expected to have a negative impact on the economy, from grain prices and the difficulty of securing them, to the price of fuel, and consequently to other products and services. For this reason, I call on the government to reconsider two measures proposed by the Democratic Party: 1. Reduction of VAT on basket foods from 20 to 6% and 2. Immediate abolition of the Rama tax on Fuel of 240 ALL per liter.
The leader of the Democrats demanded that the government make transparency on the state of state reserves and the plan of measures it has taken to help families in need.
