Basha: PD property of membership, not property of an individual with the mentality behind me kaimeti!

Basha said that we should reconcile the Democratic Party with society, starting from the layers that are the foundations of the PD house, the persecuted and the owners!

Basha’s full speech:

I want to talk to you today about the Democratic Party as a membership property and not the property of an individual with the kaimeti mentality behind me. No, the Hour will not come. The Democratic Party will not surrender to the fate of one person. The Democratic Party will be all Democrats, from the founders to the youngest or youngest among us. For this I have remained firm in this period, without backing down even in front of the individual with whom I have shared many years of cooperation. Because it was not about the fate of a man, BUT about the fate of the Democratic Party, and consequently the future of Albania.

I fought, and we are all fighting together, for normalcy, for this party to be a political force that rises above the power of the individuals that make it up, not over the power that the individual who rules a party, who receives from others, to wash away the cult his, to the point that it becomes stifling for its future.
I ask for this normality, I want to be the chairman who works to give normality to the Democratic Party and Albania.

I want to be the politician who gives a model different from the conflicting one with which the citizens were overwhelmed during the transition. And to bring this normalcy, we must reconcile the Democratic Party with society, starting from the layers that are the foundations of our home, the persecuted and the owners…

Reflecting with our acts and communication the citizenship we seek to give to politics, insisting on a model that is crucial in the long run for the liberation of society from the tensions that politics imposes on it.
